Why Your $8 Ad Can Outperform a Big Budget

Many business owners spend a lot on ads. They expect results from high budgets. My experience shows this is not always true. A small ad budget, when used smartly, can give better returns. We ran an ad campaign that cost only $8. This campaign led to 3 staff being hired. It also generated 1831 website visits. This outcome was better than previous, more expensive campaigns. The difference was in the creative and the targeting, both managed with AI. It is about working smart, not just spending more.

Staff hiring ma AI le k garcha? (What does AI do in staff hiring?)

Hiring staff can be difficult. Before using AI, we faced problems. Managers did not always call candidates. Follow-ups were missed. This led to wasted ad spend and no new hires. A business cannot run without staff. For a gym, if there are no trainers or receptionists, the business stops. We had an ad run for 2 weeks once. My manager asked me to turn it off because we had no staff to handle the leads. It was a painful situation. We had problems with staff not following up, or candidates not being suitable.

With AI, this changed. We used AI to create the ad. It helped set the right targeting. The AI understood the business needs and my vision. It took about 2 hours to train the AI on what was needed. This included my mindset, my concept, what I wanted, my vision, and the kind of marketing I preferred. After this initial training, the AI handled the ad creation and targeting. This specific hiring campaign ran for 2 days. In that time, we hired 3 staff. This was achieved with an $8 ad spend. The AI ensured the right people saw the ad. It also pre-screened candidates, automatically cancelling appointments for people who lived too far away. This saved time and money. The staff hired through this process were high quality.

Customer lai AI le kasari reply garcha? (How does AI reply to customers?)

Responding to customers quickly is important. Staff cannot work 24 hours a day. Customers message at any time, even at 12 AM. If there is no immediate reply, customers get frustrated. They have their own schedules. They will not wait for your staff. This was a common problem. Even if you have staff, they cannot work constantly.

We set up an AI to handle customer replies. This AI was trained thoroughly. It learned every use case and condition. It does not make mistakes. It follows instructions precisely. One campaign received messages from 285 people. The AI handled all these messages. I did not message even one person myself. The AI also followed up with customers. It sent automated messages and emails. This ensured no customer was missed. The AI also assigned tasks to human staff, like making calls, and tracked their progress. It tells managers and receptionists to call specific clients or notes what a client has said. This system provides clear daily data on staff performance and customer service quality, including how many renewal calls are pending or how many customers have left. Everything is systemized and organized.

AI tools ko kharcha kati huncha? (How much do AI tools cost?)

Using AI requires some investment. It is not always free. For example, the free tier of Gemini hit its usage limit in about 3 days. To get real work done, you need paid versions. I use Claude and Gemini. Claude costs USD 200 per month. Gemini costs USD 20 per month. This totals USD 220 per month. In Nepali Rupees, this is approximately NPR 31,000. My overall AI tooling stack costs around NPR 35,000 per month.

This cost is worth it. Claude did in 2-3 hours what Gemini had taken about a month to do. The productivity gained is immense. It is hard to imagine the output you get for this investment. You can start with cheaper options. When you see the productiveness, you can upgrade. The goal is to use tokens efficiently, not to spend blindly. Start small, and only take bigger packages if truly needed. Saving money is important.

Business ma AI le k k kam garcha? (What tasks does AI do in business?)

AI can handle several key business functions. Based on my experience, there are 4 jobs that AI does very well:

  1. Marketing: AI can create ad copy, select images from raw footage, and help with targeting. It optimizes campaigns for better results, even with small budgets. It can take raw images and turn them into final ad creatives.
  2. Customer Reply: AI can respond to customer inquiries instantly, 24/7. It ensures no customer message is missed. It handles initial conversations without delay.
  3. Follow-up: AI automates follow-up messages, emails, and even tasks for human staff. This keeps leads warm and ensures appointments are booked. It tracks whether staff completed their assigned follow-up tasks.
  4. Paperwork: AI can manage and organize administrative tasks. This includes tracking staff performance, customer renewals, and other data. It systemizes information, making it easy to monitor business operations. It provides daily reports on key metrics.

These tasks, when automated, free up human staff for more complex work. It also ensures consistency and efficiency across the business. This is how businesses become successful.

I hope this information helps you consider how AI can improve your business operations. Focus on smart implementation, not just spending.
